hola people.
how goes it in LJ life?
So i'm just sitting here, trying to figure out what has changed me (or something like that?) for my personal narrative. thought i'd look through my LJ posts for inspiration/reminders..not working out though. but then i realized i haven't updated in a long freakin' time. so here i am.
band. yeah, good stuff. sweet show, amazing music. going to be a good season. the last football game is tomorrow already. and then regionals was two weeks ago..we took first and the captions, and third overall. that was sweet. but, yeah..like. it's going to be a competitive season. i'm kinda excited.
my twinkle twinkle is gone..sad sad sad. seriously, quite a few people have come up to me and asked why. they say "ask for it back" it's kinda funny. but..i dont know whatever.
we added an end part to Hope, sounds amazing.. it's just sweeeeet.
i have no idea what to write about!

i'm not doing this because it's read, because it's probably not. it's just to..keep the memories. haha lame. but anyway
preband camp..crazy week so far.
monday i went to rookie camp in the morning..it was a lot of fun. then reherasal did not go so well, but whatever..the day was just ..long and frustrating. i lost one of my pieces of music for the first time like EVER too, which isn't a big deal but i felt bad because mark always says i'm kg because i'm on top of things, pretty much, and i totally wasn't..but whatever. anyway, after that stupid day i had to get fitted..lame. then when i got home i was whipped and just wanted to sleep and break down. hah, weak moment for me.
tuesday..got there for rookie camp but ended up not going out and we did equipment stuff instead. that was fun, got rubber tubing on all the cymbal stands..went to Craigs to get it..had my sweatshirt to prove it..then during the night rehearsal i fell on the cement. on my chin. so it's..yeah looks bad. doesn't hurt a whole lot but it's gross. and my knee looks bad too..so that was almost embarressing, but somehow i wasn't..so that's cool..
wednesday went to the rookie camp pool party thing, and that was fun..then rehearsal went really well. first song is sweet.
well i'm tired of this, night.

WELL.
in the past few days many things have happened!
not really but it sounds more exciting that way.
so thursday i fell in love with zach braff.
he ...ahh don't get me started.
i don't care what you say, in a non-gay way i love zach braff, zach braff.
well of course it's not gay because i'm a girl, but that's a song.
if you like "zb" then search his name on youtube, you'll find it.
and friday i decided not to do legends. then decided to.
so i went today!
god it was SO much fun! the pit tech is so cool. seriously cool. and ahh it was fun! kaite and i were "dominant" as she says. haha.
but yeah. bill and landon really want me to do it. and i'd be on marimba! RIGHT under Joe Tucker..and he's the deal. so that'd be sweet, if he did it anyway.
but yeah when joe left early, I did the preps (b/c he did, but he was gone), and i was like really? wow, i just can't escape these things. but yeah, i like prepping. haha.
but it looks like i'm doing it! i'm pretty excited, besides the lame long drive. but the people are nice. and bill is awesome, so i'm pretty pumped, i guess. plus mark will be the tech for a while too. and really, who goes 7 1/2 beats per minute??!?
ahh so yeah. tomorrow is a band concert (laame), and i'm writing my research paper..
but now i'm going to watch SNL.
because of andy samberg.

So it was a great birthday week..
Let's see..Monday we (the gordons) went out to dinner for my birthday. That was fun.
Tuesday I just did homework that night.
Wednesday (Birthday!) Caleb and Kaite showed up in the morning :) haha. that was a funny surprise. Then I got my gifts from my parents and Jacob. Guitar hero, and a few Cds. And i got some good stuff from Y2K too. Then school was fine..That night had rehearsal. That was really fun.
Thursday I got my gift from Derek at school. He's so funny..haha. And then that night was Parent's Night..our last performance. It was really well, and we went dut-less :) it was just great. Took a lot of pictures with boss and stuff. Then got my bday gift from Caleb. Dwight Bobble Head. and Dunder Mifflon thing..perfect gifts :)
then Kaite, Matt, and Caleb came over to play guitar hero and watch The Office, then Laura showed up a little later. It was a really fun night.
So today I'm doing some chores, and packing for Toronto! We leave tomorrow morning! WOO!

hi livejournal
so yeah
this week in school was pretty stressful..with testing and end of marking period, but it looks like i did good on everything, so that's sweet.
today was our dline gig at the highschool..
that was pretty sweet.
sleeping at the school wasn't even that bad, even though we rehearsed till 11ish. it was fun though. the drumlines i showed around were sweet. did a little w/ northcoast, northpointe christian..and then sabotage. and i talked to jenison too. they're drumline is crazy impressive..
well my bday is in few days..asd;flkj i got stuff already.

heyyyyooooo.
whats up.
so yeah. i feel like making an entry..even though i have nothing to say.
well, what's goin on..let's see...
my birthday is in 23 days. i'll be 16 years old.. i already got a bday card from my godparents in Poland. i've never been very close to them (it's my mom's sister and her husband), but i wish i was. it'd be pretty sweet to visit them out there and then kinda get closer to them, but it looks like they're coming back to Michigan this summer so i won't get a chance..oh well.
i've decided on my schedual for next year. there's only one class that i'm still not positive on. here it is..
PDM;
Econ/Govn;
Anatomy/Phys;
Band;
Current Events/Social Issues;
English 11 (or AP English. not positive on this yet b/c i know AP would be really hard, and it'd be nearly impossible to keep my 4.0 (which is pretty much my goal) but i'm not going into english. plus i don't wanna be stuck in english where i'm not challenged);
and ITL
I'm planning on having a 0 hour, and no 6th hour. i'm pretty glad about that, then i miss all the annoying traffic of the morning and afternoon. my ITL will be following a Doctor for the first semester, and for the second i want to go to G.R. to newish medical research place, because that's what i really want to do. and i've just started considering the Dr. thing. but yeah, i'm doing it in this order b/c i'm way busier in fall, and it'd be easier to find the time in the spring.
the barn is almost complete, the upstairs is almost finished. just a little more painting, then putting the floor in. it's lookin pretty sweet right now. :)
i love stars. asdf;lkj.. they are amazing.

i guess that's all i wanted to say.
hm nope i take it back.
i think i decided what i want to do when i grow up, but i'm still iffy about it.
i want to do stem-cell research. medical research. help make a difference in diseases. basically because i hate seeing families torn apart by deaths..
i'm not saying that to sound all "look i'm a good person"..i just really think i can do something..and if i don't then i still spent my life doing something good. but if i don't end up doing this, i'll probably always wonder what could have happened.
the classes will probably be pretty hard. even my next few high school years taking AP Science classes..but i can do it. i'm motivated.
plus the medical research field is definitely growing.
the other thing i wanted to do something with is social issues. but i realized stem-cell research is a social issue itself, so i could definitely still do something there at the same time..
well yeah i guess i have more planned out than i thought. so i'm going to watch TV now.
hah. :)

so what's up..
i've been pretty happy lately.
winter drumline music is really cool. sounds awesome.. our first gig was yesterday..at jenison. it was pretty fun. i love jenison's show. their pit is HUGE. and loud. freaking sub-woofer.
lately i've been into harry potter alot. we read the first 4 books as a family, and then after that we didn't. so i didn't read the 5th or 6th..but i decided to..so yeah i finished the Half Blood Prince in like 2 and a half days, and i decided i couldn't a thing from the first 4 books (because i had been pretty young when we read them) so i'm rereading the 4th one now. it's taking a little longer because i know the ending, but there's still so much in it that wasn't in the movie that it's still great. i only have like..a day's worth of reading left..so next i'm going to read the 2nd, then 3rd, then 1st. those three are significantly shorter so yeah. but pretty much..i love harry potter more than i remember.
we started the Rock n Roll history lesson in Mr Tate's class. i really like the music. and i'm rewriting the lyrics to Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino.
the first semester and exams ended..and i maintained my 4.0, so i'm happy about that. so far this year has been SO much less stressful than freshman year. there's pretty much no stress now. i have a new spanish teacher, though. Mrs Kotecki. i like her, she's pretty funny.
i have a little homework to do tonight..just Hankinson though..so yeah. Animal Farm stuff.
Caleb said i couldn't go for a week without myspace, so i'm going to prove him wrong. i've been finding it boring lately anyway. I'll just spend my time reading..
well ok, I guess I dont have anything else to say. gooood bye.

it's sad that the only aspect of christmas that i'm updating on is what i got..ehh bad materialistic person..here i'll tell you this.
today, on christmas day, my grandparents came over and we played the Deal or No Deal Card game..my g'ma was the "banker" and my g'pa was the "family support", you know..well it was just hilarious and fun.
but i hope everyone is having a wonderful christmas! :)

so yeah. life :)
winter d-line meeting was last night. it was cool, i'm excited. i really hope the battery dudes end up doing it.
lately i've been hanging out with lyndel more. she came over this weekend, it was fun. i'm happy we're restoring our friendship..
the snow is cool. sledding, yeah. decorating, yeah. christmas is soon. and Transsiberian Orchestra is this weekend.
i discovered Ani Difranco on the ipod a few days ago, and i can't stop listening to her song, "Fuel". i just love it. it makes me move, ya know..?
also, lately i've been more into news..and whats going on. like the trial going on right now with forced de-segregation in schools.. social issues really spark my interest.
and i really wanna keep studying issues like that, religion, culture, just history and how it's connected now. but is there a career for that? i hope.
my classes are going good..in 0 hour math, i have lyndel and jon (but he got moved). 1st hour english, kaite and gina. and just funnyness. 2nd hour chelsea and jarrod. lunch is fun. and band's fine. 5th hour is fun with erika and richie. and mr tate's class is interesting plus matt boe and jullianne are fun to talk to.
dude freaking heroes. sweetest show. i can not stop thinking about it. omg lame huh. oh well, it's sweet..i can't wait until a new episode!
well ok there's an update. i'm gonna eat pizza now. :)

monday night was the encore show.
SO many people came, it was great.
it was insane and windy, but i loved it.
tuesday we had an assembly, uniform and everything
pretty cool..little weird but still
then, since it was halloween..i watched some Scrubs that night.
wednesday..today

i loved it. i was hyper all night.
we played and all..went back to the band room..sang..then searched for mark.
we finally found him. and he opened up his gifts.
a nerf football (hey kid! throw me that ball!)
pretzels (YES I WANT A PRETZEL!)
a spanish dictionary (Yo quiero "beats")
golfballs (to practice his swing)
then a card that we all signed.
very nice, he REALLY liked it all.
after everything we talked to landon and mark for a bit.
they said some sweet things.
well marching band is over and i haven't quite cried yet.
oh well. maybe later.. :)

Man, this weekend was busy.
So Friday, after school, rehearsal for football game..
so yeah that. then, ofcourse, the half time show got cancled due to weather.
Then Saturday we had rehearsal starting at 9 am, then for the long dinner break, Katy, Bryce, Jacob and I went to Brooklyn Bagels, and it was fun. Then we watched some bands when we got back. Our performance was good that night. Then I got home around..10ish..
Sunday, the drumline and I were at the school at about 11, and we went to MSU to perform our show and get critiqued. Right after that, we watched the MSU drumline perform, then we loaded up the truck, went to Arby's, then headed home. Got home at almost 10, and i went to bed right away.
So pretty much, I didn't have a weekend outside of band.
Oh well, it was still fun.
And guess where I get to go tonight? That's right, band.

OK. Here goes my summary of the camping trip..
well duh it was great.
and let's see.
got there monday afternoon, and just hung out the rest of the day.
then the next morning, tuesday morning, we went into charlevoix to visit my aunt and look at the new library (nice nice nice). that day ben, and the balamucki's arrived. in the afternoon we, the cousins, went to swim in lake charlevoix. it was a bit chilly because of the wind, but it was still alot of fun. threw noah alot. had a fun poker game, too. that night we just hung out by the fire. that night we went to the beach at about 12, 12:30. it was so pretty. you could so many stars..
wednesday morning we went for a boat ride across the lake, then came back to the campground. then went back out on the boat to go tubing. it was a lot of fun. then we came back, ate lunch, and went tubing again. this time we went swimming in the middle of the lake too. when i tubed, i tubed at a higher difficulty.."jacob's level" i call it. i was out in no time. i looooooove wiping out though. so much fun. well after all that we came back in and started making out movie by noah's request. it was an ok movie, it got funnier as it went along. that night we hung out and talked by the fire again.
then thursday we all had to leave to get to band, work, ect.
so it really sucked how short the trip was but oh well. i'll see them all again at thanksgiving. and hopefully again at xmas down in Chapel Hill.
over the whole trip, i read and finished Speak. good book. but i have no idea what i'm suppose to write about it. oh well.

so tonight was fun! at jesse's going away party, yeah. it was pretty cool. didn't get to stay for long but oh well.
umm it's cold in here. what the heck, where's the breeze coming from?
i'm so excited for tomorrow. ohh yes. gilmore girls marathon+best friend+popcorn/pop. what could be better!
